In the boot recognized by Gen3, write speed was approximately 814MB/s and read speed approximately 913MB/s (dd, 2GB, direct). Write and read-back operations of 4GB were performed twice, with checksums matching in both cases. No errors occurred during monitoring for approximately 11 minutes. In other words, operation is stable once recognized; the issue lies in recognition at boot time. The number of "unsafe shutdowns" in SSD diagnostics (SMART) increased from 22 to 33 during repeated reboots on Gen3. It did not increase after 10 reboots on Gen2. The power source was a mobile battery (approximately 5V 3A). Whether insufficient power at the moment of boot is the cause remains unconfirmed. A 5V 5A power supply (UPS) will be used to test the same 10 reboots. PCIe Gen3 is not an official setting on Raspberry Pi 5 (Gen2 is the official limit).
