Summary of a personal blog post (zenn): Ubuntu 24.04.3 on the MacBook Pro 13-inch 2016 showed the internal Broadcom BCM43602 Wi-Fi on 5 GHz at 400 Mbps after a placed NVRAM file and disabling Wi-Fi power save. The writer notes the NVRAM's factory calibration is unverified. The second item is a built-in part of the first. The article does not discuss compatibility as such; it only shows that these devices were used together.
