Summary of a personal blog post (zenn): The writer's Kali Linux desktop with the Z590-S01 board did not recognize the Buffalo WLI-UC-AG300N USB adapter automatically. It worked only after manually binding its USB ID to the rt2800usb driver with new_id, a change that is lost on reboot.
